Optimism Growing Worldwide

At the recent global meeting in Marseilles all InterSearch partners agreed on two things; that 2009 was a very poor year and that 2010 is proving to be much better with everyone stating that business in their home markets is now growing.

There was great optimism that the global economy has now turned the corner and that companies are starting to recruit again after everything stalled last year. Sectors that seem to be growing include automotive, finance & banking, energy, life sciences, infrastructure, luxury goods, FMCG and technology.

The only cloud on the horizon seemed to be from Greece where the economic and political situation is understandably difficult at present. The new partners from Canada, Korea and Sweden all reported similar trends in the market with clients starting to recruit again.
