Reporting to a senior manager within EMEA, the Technical Manager will be responsible for raising project awareness and researching their needs and what can be offered; plan how input can be integrated with all projects; review existing specifications and practices; the preparation of revised standard specifications and design recommendations; liaising with the construction division on a new SWPP and identify training needs for construction personnel. Once the Technical Manager is established they will be responsible for building continued expertise in the function and implementing a succession plan.
The EMEA business is currently bidding a number of significant major projects across Central & Eastern Europe and this role is seen as being key to the success of the business and as a consequence will involve significant European travel. The Group has highlighted the need for this individual and the success of the Technical Manager is expected to develop into a role with a far wider global remit.
